🛠️ Fix Realme 5i (RMX2032 / RMX2030) Hang on Logo – No Data Loss [Tested Working Solution]
Is your Realme 5i stuck on the boot logo? Don’t worry — you’re not alone, and there’s a simple fix that doesn’t require formatting or flashing firmware. This method works on RMX2032 and RMX2030, and the best part? No data will be lost during the process.
I’ve personally tested this method using FRT (Flash Repair Tool) and it brought my device back to life. Here’s how you can do it too 👇
✅ What You’ll Need:
- Windows PC or Laptop
- USB Cable
- 📥 FRT Tool (Free to use if you have MRT Dongle)
- Proper Qualcomm USB Drivers installed
- MRT Dongle (optional, if you have it — but not required in most versions, need original login details and it's not free)
🔧 Steps to Fix Realme 5i Stuck on Logo:
-
Download and Install Drivers
Make sure you have Qualcomm USB drivers installed on your PC. If not, install them before proceeding. -
Download & Open FRT Tool
Launch the FRT (Flash Repair Tool).💡 If you have an MRT dongle, plug it in before launching FRT. If not, just open the tool — it works in many cases without a dongle.
-
Boot Device into EDL Mode
Power off your Realme 5i and boot it into EDL (Emergency Download) mode. no need test points or a suitable EDL cable for this.-
Once in EDL, the tool should automatically detect your phone.
-
-
Setup in FRT Tool
In the FRT interface:-
Set Chipset to Qualcomm
-
Keep Firehose set to Automatic_Identification
-
Leave the Port field untouched (FRT will auto-select it)
-
-
Go to the Flasher Tab
-
Under Function Options, select Read info
-
Click Start
-
The tool will scan and list all partitions from your device. This may take a few seconds.
-
-
Cancel Reboot Prompt
After the partitions are loaded, a pop-up may appear asking to reboot the device. Click "Cancel" – we’re not done yet. -
Erase the 'misc' Partition
-
Find the misc partition in the list
-
Right-click on it
-
Select Erase Partition
-
Wait for the success message.
-
-
Reboot Your Device
Unplug your phone and boot it normally. It should now start up without getting stuck on the logo — and your data will still be there!
📌 Notes:
- This trick works not only for Realme 5i (RMX2032/RMX2030) but also for many other Qualcomm-based Realme models facing bootloop issues.
- Always use this method before trying a full firmware flash if your goal is to avoid data loss.
🧪 Personal Experience:
I revived my own RMX2032 using this exact method. No flashing, no factory reset — just a simple partition erase. It's clean, safe, and fast.
