MTK Tool Free Download – Unlock Pattern, PIN, or Password Without Losing Your Data

🔓 MTK Tool Free Download – Unlock Pattern, PIN, or Password Without Losing Your Data

Imagine this: you pick up your old phone, maybe it’s your backup device, or your kid locked it playing around — now it’s stuck on a PIN or pattern screen, and you can’t remember the password. The usual options mean factory reset and losing all your photos, chats, and apps.

But what if I told you there’s a way to unlock your phone without losing anything?

That’s where MTK Tool comes in. It's a small but powerful Windows program designed for MediaTek (MTK) chip devices. It helps you read the locked data and later unlock the device using a forensic tool — no reset, no data wipe.

I’ll walk you through how I did it, and you can do the same — step by step.

🧰 What You’ll Need

  1. MTK Tool + Activator (download link usually shared on forums or tools site)
  2. A Windows PC
  3. A USB cable
  4. Oxygen Forensics Detective (v17.1 recommended, free version works)
  5. Some patience

⚙️ Step-by-Step: How I Unlocked a Locked MTK Phone Without Losing Data

✅ Step 1: Download & Extract the Tool

I downloaded the MTK Tool zip file and an activator from a trusted source (below link added in end of post).
Once downloaded, I extracted both folders using WinRAR. You’ll see something like:

  • mtk_tool/
  • activator/

✅ Step 2: Open MTK Tool

Inside the MTK Tool folder, I ran >mtk.exe.
It opens a small window with numbered options.
I pressed 2 for Read Userdata.bin (that’s the option for unlocking the phone without wiping data).

It asked me for a password – this is usually sold by some people, but I got the keygen for free.

✅ Step 3: Generate Activation Key

Then I went into the Activator folder and ran its .exe file.
The MTK Tool gives you a hardware ID — just copy it and paste it into the MTK Keygen Generator window.

Clicked Start Key Generation and in about 1 minute, it showed a code.
I copied it, went back to MTK Tool, and pasted it when it asked for a password.

Done. The tool was now active.

✅ Step 4: Read Userdata From the Locked Phone

Next, I connected the locked phone via USB, and made sure it was in BROM mode (just powered off, then held Volume Up + Down while connecting).

The tool started reading the userdata.bin file.
⚠️ Important: Do not disconnect the phone during this — it took me about 20 minutes because the phone had 32 GB of data.

    ✅ Step 5: Generate Keys

Once that finished, I restarted the MTK Tool, powered the phone off and on again, then chose option 1 this time (Read Keys).

This created three files in the config folder inside the tool’s directory.

    I found a file called Magikuser.ask and renamed it to keys.json — just right-click → rename.

🔍 Step 6: Use Oxygen Detective to Extract Password

Here’s where the magic happens. You’ll need Oxygen Forensic Detective — version 17.1 is what I used (it’s floating around online or shared in communities).

    1. Install it, or skip if you already have it.
    2. Close MTK Tool, disconnect the phone.
    3. Open Oxygen Detective and click on the Home tab.
    4. Click Import Backup.
    5. Browse to the MTK Tool → config folder and select the device.ewc file.
    6. For extraction type, choose Android Physical Image.
    7. Leave the password field blank.
    8. Click Import.

      It loaded the data quickly.

🛠️ Advanced Settings (Optional But Useful)

      • On the left panel, go to Advanced Analytics.
      • Disable Facial Recognition, OCR, etc., to save time.

        Then click Import to proceed.

🔐 Final Step: Recovering the Password

        Now comes the password part.

Oxygen asks for the type of screen lock:

        • If it’s a 4-digit PIN → choose PIN
        • If it’s a pattern → select pattern
        • If it’s a full password → choose password

Click Select Algorithm. It opens the Attack Manager.

There, you choose the brute-force method — for me, it was a 6-digit PIN, so I selected that and started the attack.

⏱️ After 5–10 minutes, it showed me the correct password: 569432. Boom. I entered that on the locked phone, and it unlocked instantly with all data still intact.

          🧪 Real Example

I used this method to unlock an Infinix Hot 10 Play for a friend. He forgot the PIN after a software update. We followed the exact same steps and got the correct PIN without deleting anything — even his WhatsApp chats were there.

          ✅ Final Notes

          • This only works for MTK-based phones.
          • The process doesn’t damage your phone.
          • If the phone has full-disk encryption, recovery might be slower.
          • Make sure the USB cable and drivers are properly installed.

📦 What You Get at the End

          • userdata.bin
          • device.ewc
          • keys.json

These three files are the core of the unlock process.
