Have you ever needed to make a very specific, technical change to a file but didn't have the time or tools to do it? The AUTO DATA EDITOR is a small, helpful program designed to do this one job perfectly—and automatically.
It's a "click-and-go" tool. You don't need to be a technical expert. You just tell it what kind of fix you need, give it the file, and it does the rest.
⚙️ How to Use the Tool
Using the editor is as easy as 1-2-3. When you open the program, you'll see a small, simple window.
- Choose Your Fix: First, click the dropdown menu. You will see three options:
- MISCDATA
- PROINFO
- BLACKBOX
- Simply select the type of fix you need for the file you are working on.
- Find Your File: Next, click the Browse button. This will open a window where you can find and select the file on your computer that you need to edit.
- Click and Go: Once your file is selected, just press the AUTO EDIT AND SAVE button.
📁 What Happens After You Click?
This is the best part. You don't have to worry about a thing.
- The tool automatically makes the edits.
- It then saves a new copy of your edited file to a safe backup folder.
- You can find your finished file in a new folder on your computer named MUK_BACKUP, which is located on your C: drive (at
C:/MUK_BACKUP). - The text box at the bottom of the tool will show you a message, like "Edited file saved to...", letting you know the job is done.
