How to Use the Tool
Backup Partition
- Open Spreadtrum Flash Dumper on your computer
- Set Mode Slot = Auto
- Select the partition you want to backup
Examples:
- nvdata → IMEI / NV data
- boot → for rooting
- vbmeta → system verification
- Click Start Backup
- Press Volume Down on your phone and connect the USB cable
The backup process will begin.
When finished, the phone will restart automatically. The backup file will be saved in the backup folder.
Unlock Bootloader
- Enable OEM Unlock in Developer Options
- For Transsion phones, login to your account on the phone
- Turn off the phone
- Click Unlock Bootloader in the tool
- Confirm by clicking Yes
The process will begin.
During the process:
- The phone may restart several times
- The screen may stay black for a short time
- You may hear connection sounds on the PC
Do not panic. Wait until the process completes.
When recovery mode appears, select Format Data.
Root the Phone
- Check your phone slot (usually Slot A) using DevCheck app
- Enable USB Debugging
- Install Magisk APK
- Patch the boot.bin file using Magisk
- Copy the magisk_patch.img file to your computer
Then run:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot_a magisk_patch.img
fastboot reboot
Your phone will reboot with root access.
Unbrick Device
If your phone becomes bricked after unlocking bootloader:
- Open the backup folder created by the tool
Example:
spreadtrum_flash\backup_spl
- Select these files:
- splloader.bin
- uboot.bin
- Unplug the USB cable
- Select Mode Slot → Auto
- Choose the files in the tool
Example:
- splloader → splloader.bin
- uboot → uboot.bin
- Click Flash Selected
Now press Volume Up + Volume Down + Power and connect the USB cable.
The flashing process will begin and restore the phone.
Full Firmware Flash (PAC)
- Open the tool
- Select Flash PAC
- Choose storage type
- eMMC
- UFS
- Select the PAC firmware file
- Click Load Mapping
If the phone is stuck:
Press Volume Up + Volume Down + Power until you hear a click sound, then connect the USB cable.
Click Flash Selected and wait until the process finishes.
The phone will turn on automatically.
